NCQA and Pfizer Inc Release Publication Focused on the Use of Health Information Technology to Support Quality Improvement

Quality Profiles™: The Leadership Series - Focus on Supporting Quality Improvement Through the Use of Health Information Technology, developed by NCQA in collaboration with Pfizer Inc, is the seventh in a series of publications focused on advancing the quality of health care and its delivery.

Using the six Priorities and Goals of the National Priorities Partnership as the framework, this edition:

• Explores the tremendous potential health information technology (HIT) has in advancing meaningful health care reform
   

• Examines technologies that can facilitate quality improvement efforts in areas that have the greatest possibility of improving health and overall health care
